Did you make him a man? Or did Dan Wadley?

I love how when people know your right they simply make smart a comments and don't actually try to argue with you-

Seth looks like he ate eldridge- he is a beast- eldridge is a toothpick- but a bigger toothpick than mcMasters just not as long-

Temple as well as Seth- have the respect of the coaches across the state- so I'm guessing a large number of those coaches voted for seth.

as far as not winning district or region player of the year- seth barely scores against over half the teams in the district and region because they stink so bad he doesn't play- and nothing against region 3-A but the coaches at those school aren't very intelligent...-

I do believe Temple and the GREAT SETH took an L against A&S who is in the same region as Temple...and im pretty sure he played the whole game...

It's not an ignorant comment. No one wants him to be Mr. Basketball cause they hate temple therefore they hate the Skogens. I can't blame you guys.If I was from Grace or any surrounding area school in Class A I would hate the Skogens too.

Noway is not putting down Eldridge personally. He was talking about the physical way the two play the game. Eldridge's game is smooth and he is a great shooter. Seth is everywhere. Not to take away from Eldridge though.

I won't give my personal opinion about who should of been a finalists, but I think Eldridge and Seth are both worthy of the award.

i dont have them up to date....last time i saw them it was 17 ppg 8rbg and 9apg....but i know his rebound total has gone up in the tourney

Fellas, here are DeMario's actual stats. Keep in mind these were his averages before the District Championship Final where he scored 19pts, 16 rebs, 5 steals and 4 assists. All in all pretty good stats for a point guard. I am probably his biggest fan but I think Weddle will win it. If you factor in defense to the equation, then he would have a chance b/c he can defend as well as anyone in the state at any level. Weddle will win though.

Sophomore Season as of 2/24/06: 17.5 ppg 7.8 rebs 3.7 assists 4.0 stls 2.0 blks

Not that I should respond to such stupidity- but I will- CSAS is NOT one of the teams in that region that stinks- they are good- a very good team- they won their district- gave grace a couple good games and split with temple-

redandwhiteforever- I am sorry you think that is a stupid comment- I think eldgridge is a great high school player- and I would not have been so surprised had he been nominated- but when you compare him and seth- you take seth-

my man and boy comment was a comment about physical play- strength and size- nothing against eldridge

and more than likely you are a boy...

Temple has the respect of people all around the state. Ok, I'm sure Grace does too since they have beaten Temple twice and beat them soundly one time. Smart comments? We'll address that later.

Are you making smart comments now? Are you now wrong? Are we all wrong?

Are we talking about Mr. Basketball nominations or are we talking about Temple/Grace? Nothing in your post even remotely refers to anything about Mr. Basketball. Lets try and stay on topic.....just a thought.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
