My analysis of DB vs siegel matchup:

Singles:

1) Seigal > DB

2) DB = Seigal (could go either way)

3) Seigal > DB

4) DB> Seigal

5) Seigal > DB

Doubles:

1) DB = Seigal (could go either way)

2) DB = Seigal (could go either way)

As you can see, DB has a chance...(not saying we're better or anything; just that we have a chance and should consider us)

s-i-e-g-e-l

what is db's lineup?

Well, that's private schools. You guys can recruit players. We just have guys that go to our school. Its really amazing when a team is good for so long like Kingsport (a town with a population of 35,000). Also, We didn't have 2 of our top 6 in the match against Knox Webb, and they stacked on us. They put parker at 3 and Hatcher at 2. And also, we didn't play that well.

PS DB, TN High, and Science Hill are all about the same. Anyone of us will have a chance to beat siegel or Brentwood. Science Hill and DB have been battling the past 4 years. The first Year Science Hill beat DB and eventuall won State. Past 3 years, DB won and won state twice and got to the finals last year. So for 3 years (not last year) DB and Science Hill had the best teams in the state. (its incredicable that both cities of DB and Science Hill only have a population of about 80,000 combined. its crazy how many good players come from here the past few years. It may never happen again. That is why these generation of kidds were competitive in the state level. They had competition i nthe region to make each other better)

private schools and public schools are completely different. if you go to a private school, stick to the A/AA threads-who are you anyway?

usckk...who does dobyns bennet have this year? siegel would have beaten them last year and siegel didn't lose anybody this year. I don't think you guys would beat siegel

Why do you think yall would of beaten us last year? You all could, but I don't think so. Last year, we still have Matt Stanley. He would of beaten Kyle Wishing. He was the 2nd best player last year, only to Brian Hartness. So he would push everyone back a spot from last year. Here is what could of happend last year...

1) DB > siegel

2) DB> siegel

3) DB = siegel

4) DB = siegel

5) DB > siegel

Doubles

1) DB > siegel (they won state last year individually)

2) DB = siegel

As for our lineup...its pretty much the same as last years without matt stanley. I already know yours

Also, we could of played yall in a round robin match Webb, and Beaden in April. The only reason we arnet going is because its during our Prom. Shucks, too bad.

we watched matt stanley play brian after we lost to brentwood last year...kyle would have beaten matt

even if he wouldn't have...

we'll say last year:

1) DB=SHS

2) DB>SHS

3)-5) SHS>DB

We stayed after we lost to bwood and watch you guys play brentwood last year and i'm confident we would have beaten you. You may think differently but we'll never find out anyways

How can you say siegel is better 3-5 last year? Saying they are equal makes senses, but once sided? Our 3 guy also had a extremely close match witht Brentwoods 3. So they would be equal. Our 4 guy raped Alex, while your 4 lost a few games. So I would say they are equal too.

What's your AIM screenname? We should chat. Mine is just usckk

i take that comment on the 3's back...i do remember now that your 3 was a good player i'll say 3's are equal as of last year. Our 4 played terrible against Alex, and me knowing the guy I'm confident he would've beaten your 4 last year but i'm not entirely sure...who was your 5 last year? Siegel's 4 and 5 never lost a regular season match last year with the exception of MBA at the beginning of the season, Siegel is a deeeep team

Well, yall were in a easy conference. We, as i've already said, are in a conference where there are 3 state-champion quality teams. Our 4 is so much better this year than last year too. Our 5 was a former-good player in Kuo, but he's just bad now. He doesn't start hitting until 1 week before the season starts. Lol. He concentrated in school and other extracurricular activities. Which is evident as he is a top 10 violist in the state and got full ride to the University of Tennessee and got in to Vanderbilt and other prestigious colleges.

    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
    • No my fight, but ... if they were already college-caliber prior to transferring to BHS, and they already had FBS interest, and they end up at an FBS school, how did Bearden do anything for them?
