Took
if the tigers come with their heads screwed on, this will be an easy win for them.. they played very well against kingston.. Willis looked real good on the mound.. they also did good with the bats as well...

the truth is...
how is rockwood and sunbright looking this year? both should have good teams sunbright has a bunch of talent this year. sunbright has been through growing pains the last 2-3 years as they were all young. finally, we will see how good they can be. we have 2 seniors, 6 juniors, and 1 sophomore that will start. we have a decent bench. we have 6 pitchers that can actually pitch in varsity games. our weakness right now would have to be hitting the baseball. all and all, we should have a good season this year. we have a full schedule of games and hopefully will start get a lot of younger kids some playing time to help build for the future. spudbaseball2
i would say Rockwood flat out won that scrimmage! Sunbright may be good but they dont have the talent Rockwood does.
the truth is...
rockwood won the scimmage 10-1. rockwood looked good in doing so. sunbright used their 3 & 4 pitchers at this scrimmage and was not doing too badly until the 4th inning. it was 3-0 and sunbright had 2 outs and bases empty and the catcher dropped a pop up for the 3rd out. after that rockwood scored 7 runs with the help of 2 more errors. all in all, rockwood is the better team, but sunbright has things to lood forward to if they get their defense in order. the truth is...
how did sunbrights pitching look? sb's #3 pitcher did good. got out of a jam in the first inning. easy 2nd inning, started off good in the 3rd inning and due to a couple of errors he did not finish the inning. brought the #4 pitcher in and he was shaky the rest of the inning. had to use the #1 pitcher in the 5th inning and rockwood did not touch him. only played 5 varsity innings and then we played 3 j.v. innings. rockwood was the better team on this night. sunbright's pitching will be fine. we have 8 or 9 guys who can throw. the truth is...
how did the hawn kis throw? derek started and threw well. ryan came in late and was unhittable. we were trying not to use ryan(#1 pitcher) and willie dutton(#2 pitcher) just in case we were to face rockwood in the region. reds
Rockwood's starting nine played one inning. Rockwood also pitched 8 different pitchers.
