Ragland
This will be another heated and emotional game for both teams as neither is goin to lay down. Goodpasture has beaten the Bison twice but it is hard to beat a team 3 times as they found out playing Greenbrier. Gambling men would prolly put this game in favor of Goodpasture but lets see what everyone thinks.
idiotface31
Wow this game should be a heckuva showdown. Neither team showed much care for the other in their last meeting at Goodpasture, and we can only hope that the ragging SC cheerleaders don't make as much of fools of themselves as last time when they called CJ Davis, um, the "n"-word. The Bison, I am afraid, do enough trash-talking on their own without their rowdy cheer squad to help them out. This aside, SC has a scary team; athletic, quick, and full of good 3-pt. shooters. However, Goodpasture has caused them problems twice before and I sense the emotions running a little high in this a loser-goes-to-baseball-practice-tomorrow type of atmosphere. It is very difficult to beat a team three times in a season, but I think Derek Brady, the Cougars' defensive leader and Davis are level-headed enough to outlast the Bison, who have in the last two games become rather whiny/emotional/hot-headed. Goodpasture's emotional side could rear its ugly head (Buchanan and Frey have to watch themselves), but I think this is a matchup where simply cooler heads prevail. Ragland
Whoa I agree with your post on the level headedness because when teams play on pure emotion they lose the mental edge in the game. Now I talked to the cheerleaders of SC and I don't believe the "n" word was used and if it was then that is extremely wrong. Davis also did his fair share of talking too and it was obvious that some of the things he was saying didnt exactly reflect the Christian school he goes to. The level headed player for Goodpasture is Frey from what I saw at the last game between the two. For Station Camp Jones will be the guy to try to keep his team down to earth. Now I was never aware of the N word being used and Im not sure if that is complete truth or else Im sure I wouldve heard of it earlier. I hope for a good clean game but its hard to see that coming with the outcome of the last game.
COACHHARD
Final: Goodpasture 91 Station Camp 76. Station Camp had no answer for Buchanan who finished with 41 points. Davis proved he is more than a scorer with some amazing assists. Good luck to Goodpasture in the region finals and substate. Represent 8-AA well. Congratulations to Station Camp on a great season.
