Who ever wins this game, wins the recruiting battle. It's big for both teams, I expect to see a very good game. Good luck to both!!! :thumb:

They are D-1, they aren't allowed to recruit...

I agree with you. Both of these teams are big recruiters in the southeastern states. I think Temple is on a roll though and they are about to "rack" Grace. Grace rackball is over tonight after they get racked by Temple.

Grace will...wait, that would be inappropriate...Grace wins...

Stop lying you all know that when Carter was 5'8'' at the age three he started getting recruiting letters from Grace

lol...5'8 at age three...heck he probably was haha

Grace Wins Fifth Meeting With Crusaders

posted March 3, 2006

Grace Academy won their fourth of five matchups with the Tennessee Temple Crusaders Friday night 49-46 securing a home sectional game on Monday.

Grace's Davis Eldridge had 28 points including four three pointers in the win.

Temple led 17-7 in the first quarter but led by only four at the half 27-23.

Grace outscored Temple 14-7 in the third quarter to take the lead and held on in the final seconds to win.

A three pointer at the buzzer for Temple would have tied the game.

Jeffrey Smith had 10 for Grace.

Temple was led by Seth Skogen with 14 and Josh Smith with 13.

Temple will travel to their sectional matchup on Monday.

Grace will play at McGilvary gymnasium on Monday.

Hey Grace played a great game tonight, i was extremely impressed at the show Davis put on. It's tough to lose a 13 point lead, but i guess this one, like the others, could have gone either way but Grace seemed just a little bit too much for Temple to handle tonight. And to all you Temple fans/players, don't worry about it fellas, it's just tough to beat a good team at their place! :D

Congrats to Grace. Good win. I enjoyed the game. Yes, Bigbody, couldn't you say Temple own's Grace's gym? I would like to know the record of wins/losses at their place in the past 5-6 years if any one knows. just curious. Someone mentioned that to me last night.

Well since i was talking about this season the record is 0-0 in Grace's gym. You just love bringing up all those past years that have such a big impact on this year dont you? :thumb: But best of luck to Temple against Clay County. I think ya'll will pull it off. :)

    • The people need our help!
    • Lol when was last time they won region or got past the 3 rd round.
    • Gravedigger gotta finish filling the hole before hitting 40 East. May need a new Yellow Shirt play signaler on the Stones. And apparently a new strength coach now. Cicadas must've got shaken out of the bushes in Donelson. Hopefully the mower man sticks around to keep DG field looking pristine. Maybe new OC can call in a favor to his PGA friends that knows a thing or two about being green during the season. The heat is on soon. Bring in the 2 way freak Iceman and cool things off. He knows a thing or 2 about wildcats. Gotta take our talents South soon for Nationals. Don't step on my blue suede shoes.
