A 7-20 Hillcrest team played in the region 8AA championship game last night against Memphis Mitchell. Mitchell had already beaten them twice by more than 50 points. Hillcrest only lost by four and made it a good game. This is just another example of how much depth Memphis basketball has.

What is going on with Hillcrest? They are playing out of their minds arent they? We played them around Christmas and the looked horrible. What are they doing differently than before? At Christmas they had one dark skinned guy that was real athletic and I dont remember much more about them. Give me a little insight on what they are doing now to still be playing.

a friend of mine in Georgia had his high school finish the regular season under .500 and then proceeded to sweep all post season and won the state championship.....

They shoot the ball well. Chris Powell can stroke it. They are quick and play good defense. Powell rejoined the team the 2nd semester and has made a big diffrence.
