Giles Co. afraid of competition?

I noticed on Giles Co. schedule they have stacked there non-district games with single A teams....no offense to those teams but shouldn't a double A school who considers themselves competitive play other competitive teams????

As long as you're competitive against AA teams what differance does it make who you play in non-district games?

What should they be afraid of...they have Scott Blair coaching.

Not sure I'd say they stacked their schedule with class A teams.

 

They play AAA schools

Lincoln Co-home & away

Lawrence Co-home & away

 

They play A schools

Summertown-home & away, very strong A school

Richland-home & away, County rival

Culleoka-home & away, up and coming A team

 

They play in the St Patrick's Day Classic in Loretto

Hickman Co-AAA

Summertown-A

Collinwood-A

Forrest-A

 

All very strong A teams

 

They play later in the season in a tournament in Dickson Co

Creek Wood-AA

Northwest-AAA

Goodpasture-AA

Hickman Co-AAA

 

Then add the home & away district schedule with

Marshall Co

Loretto

Page

Spring Hill

Lewis Co

 

 

Looks to me like it's a very challenging schedule.

Those AAA teams are not that good..trust me..Goodpasture is going to have a field day against Giles..and the only good single A school you will play is Chapel Hill...and who cares about Scott Blair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree baseballplaya8....L-burg=no good, lincoln=not to good, only one maybe 2 of those A teams are decent nothing great....Giles Co. district is very weakl, thats the only reason they did well last yr is cuz the teams in the district were worse than they were.....their schedule will give them a tough time this yr cuz with or without Blair they will still be one of the worst hitting teams in the state.

Baseball 101 u have to be from Richland because GC beat you twice by the combined score of 31 to 5 in the two scrimmages they played.

 

If your not from Richland than u must think that high school teams should schedule every team that went to the state tourny
