That is a good question. I have really not heard why he is leaving.

Did anyone on here stay up late and see Gonzaga get lucky against San Diego? I think that is an overrated team.

Why yes, I did. What has that got to do with South Pitt. or Coach Phillips. :(:(B) I dont know where Coach Phillips will be coaching at next year, but I am willing to bet that he will be head coaching basketball somewhere next year. And just remember David, You can always come home.

Sounds like you are either David or you played for David! :(

i did play for coach phillips... and i guarantee that any of my teammates would take up for him the same way... he's a good man and a good coach and where ever he is offered and/or accepts, he will have success... i wish him the best of luck and hope that him and his family are happy with the decisions made

Always come home? Ok! That sounds like a grand idea. I am home as far as I am concerned.

Im hearing Marions coach will only coach baseball next year and that SP people are interested in Whitwell's coach...........they dont have any talent Chosenone so i agree getting third says something

Just keep watching and you will see its all gonna happen.....3 new coaches at the three schools next year.....I doubt Phillips would consider a return to the purple and white

I have not posted like anything. It was this guy that felt the need to say something.

    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
