TOM JACKSON without a doubt is the best defender in the state of tennessee, Along with some other studs on the mccallie team. THis could be the first time in a while mccallie has had not one but two all americans.

Alright wow dude; idk about without a doubt best defender in the state. I dont think you have watched either MBA or MUS play yet, and im sure ravenwood will put up some good d guys too.

Tom Jackson is arguably the best defender in the state... maybe you (camo) should post some names so we can actually have a discussion about what this board was intended to do-- talk about potential all-americans. all i got from your post was that mus and mba have defenders who might be good, but we dont know yet cause we havent seen them. Names would help

I just never looked at it from a d2 outlook. No one ever mentions possible all americans in division two. Usually though the possible all americans have definately been in division one. If what i tried to articulate makes any sense.

Yeah Tom Jackson is money, he can shut down just about any offensive gun. any other players look to be all american favorites, or even allstate or anything. Its almost april and hardly anyone has been talking trash. I mean BBQ and coacht, thats what tennessee does.

How about James Banker from MBA for top defenseman? While Jackson has 6 take aways and 16 loose balls, Banker has 24 take aways and 26 loose balls. Those stats seem pretty lopsided so I wouldn't be saying Jackson is the hands down best defender in the state.
