Do you not have to have a receipt from the booster club if the donation is $500.00 or greater?

Any donation to anyone over $250.00 has to have documented proof, and if you receive so much as a sticker for your "donation" you can NOT deduct it from your taxes because you "purchased" said item. Be careful what you claim on taxes Mr. IRS will come knocking.....Don't donate to have a tax deduction do it to help the kids....that's the purpose of booster clubs. Not a tax shelter.

QB clubs are critical these days. Lincoln Co has one of the best

I cant claim any of my donations anyway i dont have enough deductions i can only do the standard deduction so that is not a issue for me.

Most large donations are made by check anyway and most people are doing for the kids because the deduction really doesnt help you that much

You are right about doing it for the kids.

Here are all the banquet award winners.

The banquet would have been definately nice to see...I wonder what Britton had to say, if in fact he was there and spoke. Lost Old Dad, what did he have to say? (Assuming Britton was indeed there).

Coach Britton was indeed there. Only got to talk to him for a couple of minutes. He didn't speak much about the new job, being typical Coach Britton it was about the young men who played and how proud of them he is.

Hopefully his new school will appreciate what a great coach they have gotten! :thumb:
