samson12089
After losing a lot of key players last year the Bruins were expected to have an off year... after the first 2 games they find themselves at 2-0 and having scored 24 runs and hitting 4 home runs.... could there be a suprise waiting to happen? No real surprise. Brentwood always has a good team.
leftypitcher0707
We will see tommorow how good Brentwood really is, they are going to have a very big challenge against Overton who will be throwing Goodenow

BaseBall's#1Fan
Brentwood didnt look like a very good district contendr for there distict this yeat... I watched them play Smyrna this weekend in the Grand Slam Challenge and Smyrna just dominated... they beat Brentwood 7-2... but thats not bad saying that Smyrna has been crushing the ball this season and has only made like 2 errors.. they have had I think 50 hit in 5 games... What district is Brentwood in???

What district is Brentwood in??? Brentwood wasnt exactly dominated... the starting pitcher gave up 6 runs in the first 2 innings. In the second inning Jr Kevin Elkins was brought in with no out and runners on 1st and 3rd... Smyrna only scored one run the rest of the game off of an error. webcoach
IMO - Brentwood will finish 4th or 5th in district 11aaa. Behind Ravenwood, Overton, Franklin HS and maybe Hillsboro

webcoach
I can only imagine. They are young and not too tough.
samson12089
They may be young, but a long of the younger players are stepping up and helping out. Matt McGee (sophomore) already has 2 homers in 5 games to help lead the team in hitting, and Freshman Andy Hillis will also help contribute on the mound. Also lost to ravenwood by 1 run with ravenwoods matt cole on the mound. Edited March 21, 2006 by Cubs05SC
bhs120
It all depends on if Coach Waggoner realizes that he really only has 9 players to play....he has to be creative in order to just play those 9 players Brentwood will be tough to beat this year....first year in a long time when the 11-aaa race has been wide open
