Oakland has good pitching and they say pitching is the key.

really well last time i checked you didnt have to be a good pitcher to play Football but Eric Crouch was pretty good at pitching back whenever he didnt have room to run back in "01" so maybe that was the pitching you were talking about im tryin to give you the benefit of doubt

Blue team won today 12-0. Cowan and Co with the W.

 

Kaelin was an animal on D on blue , as was Big Murph on the White team. Players to note with good performances: Petey, Boyd, Messick, Bragdon, Bass , Precious, Both Burris brothers, Amay, Heath, Jackson, Barrett, Young, Blissard, Vagus.

 

Spring is now over.... :thumb:

hows ole Johnathon Murphs progress going i grew up with the kid i played ball with his brother and he was always about some football so i hope he becomes excellent

Big Murphy is playing his very best ball ever. In fact, he had several tackles for loss today. For awhile it was the Kaelin/ Murphy SACK show. Murphy is stout as an ox and is really coming into his own. I am super proud of his progress. Of course that extra time in the weightroom has helped tremendously to his game.

 

Also hear he is a dang pretty good swimmer??????

hes a sophmore he supposedly spray painted siegel that guy but im friends with him and people are tellin me hes doing good, he plays on the line

 

He is doing better. He had a concussion the first week and found that it was caused by his helmet being to big for his head. They specially ordered that one but the pads aren't big enough in them. No other helmet is big enough and the one he had is to big.

He did suffer a concusion on the first day of spring practice and wasn't able to return.

      I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.

      I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.

      I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
