PUJO,what do you think about upper east TN teams this season. I think they will still have a rough time competing with Friendship, Trousdale, Gordonsville and South Pitttsburg.

I agree wholeheartedly, I do look for Hampton to be a better team this season, but its still an up hill battle. It can be done and Hampton has the leadership it takes to get there. As far as the other teams in East Tenn ,I think Harriman should be the best out of region two, teams on the rise will be Cosby , Unaka , Sunbrite and Grace.

PUJO speaks. Hey PUJO, I just have got to know. Do you still have that Kansas City Chiefs jacket? That old jacket seemed to be your trade mark on the Highlander sidelines for years. How do you feel about Dick Vermeil retiring? How is your nephew doing at Hampton? Will he be a junior this season?

Been a Chiefs fan since I was a kid, still wearing my Chief stuff. Mixed feelings about the Chiefs coaching changes. Vermeil was to loyal and soft, I think the Chiefs needed a change.hope we got the right ones. As far as my nephew goes, he will be a junior next season, likes it at Hampton .working hard and getting ready for some football. I also have two boys myself. they are Highlanders. I'm a Friday night Bulldog and a Saturday Highlander.Actually I support both schools.

Your nephew plays QB right? How old are your boys? Will they play at Cloudland or Hampton under your brother as offensive coordinator? Does Cloudland have any talent coming up anywhere close to the few teams they have a couple of seasons ago?

Yeah Michael is the quarterback. My oldest son also plays quaterback,he's only 9. My little one is only two. I got a late start. If all the kids who are playing now. keeps playing. Cloudland should have a real good 6 year run.3rd through the 8th, I,m sure some will go by the wayside, some won,t be willing to work, some will transfer. I hope my kids play at Cloudland ,it just depends on who,s coaching Football.baseball and basketball. We have the kids to have some of the best teams to ever come through this school. hope nothing changes,

I don't care where they play their highschool ball as long as they play for the Tar Heels in college {basketball} and the Chiefs in the pros. I don.t ask for much.

I stand on the sidelines with Hampton, as long as Mike coaches there, I,ll be there supporting Hampton. Good chance he will be the head coach whenever J C retires. All joking aside, I do expect alot out of my kids, so far ,its working. Alot of people compare Little Jerry to Mark Byrd, I think its a little early but he does stand out in all three sports. Also a straight A student. My little one Levi Lander is so daggum mean, I can't tell much about him,except he's tough, at the time he is a power ranger.
