Well in response to my own thread (since I am pain train :thumb: ) I must include those two linebackers from Lipscomb. #44 Ben Lehning and #50 Dale Binkley

DLine, kids a monster! he has been makin defensive plays since he was a sof. playing in the state tittle game! Kid is good, i love watchin him play!

(this isnt cherries)

i had to block hamilton two times last year and there is no doubt that he is one of the better d lineman in the state if u ask me. It was like moving a rock and he could fly for 290 pounds. He is an outstanding player and will maybe be a force at the next level depending on where he goes and how well he is coached

    • What’s sad Barney is the cards in the deck are stacked against them.  With the success the MAVS are having just down I-75, any talented players are heading that way. I always said what the Price twins did there was second to none, making the playoffs and winning a playoff game is the ceiling there. On a great year, maybe a q-final appearance but that is a big stretch.  Finding a coach there is very tough. I feel for the new coach, he’s in a very bad situation and I’m not sure he even realizes it. I understand he wants to be positive and have hope, but I don’t see them scratching a win. Maybe he will prove me wrong.
    • I agree, 2A is the only class in thet state where the west side of the bracket is tougher, not taking anything away from Marion county at all but they should run that side for years to come
    • Should be a big week in Dayton coming up with the 100th anniversary of the Scopes Monkey Trial.
    • AE has a lot of new transfers and a very good incoming freshman class to mess with the current players.  That's why I'm saying don't sleep on AE.  Many are thinking they can't get back to their winning ways but I think this 2025 team will open a lot of eyes and let the state know, AE won't be an easy win anymore.
