  1. LOL @ ScottA11 using Irish423 to justify the demonstration of a Drama Qeen. Farragut has had plenty of kids roll through that have played on the next level. Go back a few years (5-7) and you can pick out the big fullback, Saunders (?) went to Michigan, Clabo to Wake who is now with the Falcons, Hoague who is also at Wake, Jackson @ Georgia Tech, and Reviez who I believe will start for UT this year. Sterling, who was at Ole Miss. IMO, they have some this year as well. We'll see.
  2. Rhea County will be fine. They will improve and make the playoffs. #5, and #45 are very good players. Love the QB, Tallent. Cozart was the story, but that OL, across the board is as good as I've seen at old fashioned drive blocking in a long time. Too much tradition for Rhea to not win more than they lose, IMO.
  3. So if he took classes full time last year as a senior then he must be taking a bunch of electives this year. That would be fun! I'm very happy for him to be able to play his senior year. Fortunately his 19th birthday falls after 8/1. Although, you would expect the TSSAA to have something in place where you could appeal the age limit rule with special circumstances like his. What about the RB that was injured 1st game last season, why didn't he redshirt as well? This came up on Rivals a lot. Think this is right...Entered/started @ Catholic @ 13, turns 14 during that year. Enters sophomore year @14, and turns 15 during that year. Gets hurt as 15 year old Junior, and turns 16 during that year. Ordered by doctors not go to school for remainder of year due to multiple surgeries/rehab. Enters 4th year @ 16, turns 17 during that year, and does not play. Enters this year @ 17, and will turn 18 this year.
  4. Fwiw, RheaCo, the master of the Rhea County thread said that he went to both Catholic scrimmages. Said Catholic had 4 or 5 athletes. Not much more. Definitely beatable. His words. Recent post..
  5. It's good. I like the Shattuck kid in another year. Keep his weight down, and his feet improving. Cozart will play on Saturdays, for sure. Tait, well that just caught me off guard. Never heard him and "superdud" in the same sentence. Sort of like saying Caleb Leonard never gave effort, or Drayton could'nt catch.
  6. Ironman80. IMO, Halls secondary looks very strong. New DB coach, no? Where'd he come from? Toler, I believe his name is. Those kids broke on the ball well. Catholic WRs gotta catch it out front, and not raise the head before the cut. Halls LBs looked good. They run well, hit, tackle. Easy reads though. Pretty simplified version of Spread. Only a couple of formations. QB has the ball, drop to the flat or get to the curl zone. QB doesn't have the ball tackle the only RB. Easy 4 Wide = 1RB. Drop the LBs, and your 4 WR are covered by 7. Thought Catholic ran the ball well initially. Showed the 2 Back, 3 Wide. After the dropsies, picks, and watered down formations (pretty much single back), Halls played up, and had 8-9 in the box. Thought the OL gave good protection. QB needs to find 2nd, 3rd option faster. Watched Tait specifically on defense. Saw two sacks and stopped the RB at or behind the LOS early (1st two series). Ran to the other side much more than not after that. Both he and 77 got good pressure up the middle. Saw him get high-lowed, cut, and held, no, tackled. I'd have done the same. Can't blame the kid for being upset. Tantrum, no. Superdud. No. Seen Halls plenty over the years, and this may be one of their better Julian teams. Loved the QB, and the Wingbacks hit the hole well. Shows good trust, knowledge of the OL & offense in general. Backs ran hard as well. Not a lot of solo tackles. Overall team speed is improved. WRs block well down field. Kicking game needs work though. DL, too much reading. Just get across the LOS, disrupt, and let the LBs tackle.
  7. Zach had his surgery, and it went very well. This kid has more heart than any player I know and will return to the field with a goal to be the best and prove people wrong and he will accomplish those goals and many others. I wish him the best of luck, and I know nothing will keep him from his dreams. Much love from your best friend and biggest fan.
  8. My prayers are with the Ross family. Should these two be found guilty, I would hope they are treated with the same dignity and respect they showed Coach Ross and the others in that vacinity by their hosts @ the Brushy Mountain Correctional Facility.
  9. Is there any teams that don't have their O-line and D-line as a question mark?
  10. Catholic might not be that great at basketball, but The C.C.C. is one of the best/meanest cheering sections around
  11. Bubblegum it is obvious you are depressed/very upset you don't have the opportunities that Harrison has calistars said nothing like that calm down and be happy for Harrison

  15. Theres been alot to do it most recently...Michael Oher from Briarcrest
  16. Honestly Fulton showed probably the most class out of any team Catholic has played against....
  17. Catholics Tuition Assistance is only availabe to Catholics that do not play sports...its obvious how jealous some of you guys are for a private school to win in any league against anyone...
  18. Back to the calls by the refs...Maybe some of you noticed but it was RIGHT THERE when on that controversal call on the TD from Stinson to Vic Smith, Catholics LB was obviosuly held by Rogan and then pushed from behind RIGHT infront of Jock Stinson and the ref...if that is called that sets Fulton back and makes all the players more pissy and out of there game even more then what they were
  19. I love this thread there has been barely any trash talk or arguments on who is better...its just been about the game this is great...
  20. The kid from Scott Co. last year...did he go anywhere
