Ok, everyone get their calculators out for that SOS and RPI and OPP SOS and OPP RPI and District RPI:

Mt Juliet (3-0)

Pope John Paul II (1-3) 13-2

Cordova (2-1) 21-7

#2 in the state Germantown (2-1) 16-6

With those scores, the computer programs that use scoring margin as a factor has Mt Juliet rated pretty high...

Riverdale (3-0)

Franklin Co (1-3) 15-3

#39 in the nation http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/highs...op25/26914.html

and then-undefeated Lexington (KY) Catholic (2-2) 11-2

2004-State-Champion and 2005-State-Runnerup Christian Co (KY) (2-1) 13-3

pretty good SOS and OPP RPI....

Lavergne (3-0)

Hunters Lane (1-3) 12-2

common opponent Franklin Co (1-3) 8-7

Marshall Co (1-1) 9-0 (a No-Hitter! By Jeremy Stout)

Clarksville (2-0)

Forrest (1-2) 8-5

Blackman (1-2) 6-1

(Note, several teams had district games on Monday and/or Tuesday and didn't want any Sunday games if they weren't semifinals and finals - the answer to someone's question elsewhere of why not just play Friday's schedule on Sunday....)

Collierville (3-0)

2005-State-Tournament team Overton (2-1) 8-0

Oakland (1-3) 8-4

#26 in the nation http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/highs...op25/26914.html

and #1 in the state Ooltewah (1-2) 5-4 (8 innings)

Loretto (4-0)

Cascade (2-1) 3-2 (8 innings) (Their 'Pepperdine' Game????)

#3 in the state Shelbyville (1-2) 13-0

Northwest (0-4) 10-3

Wilson Central (2-2) 19-12

IF Cascade wins that game with Loretto, they would have been Classic champions...

Wait - maybe some more in depth info is needed for the RPI and SOS calculations:

http://www.riverdalewarriors.com/baseball/...sic-program.pdf

I hope everyone realizes I am doing this in jest - just to have fun while the Gators are blowing out UCLA

(If My TIDE hits a 3 at the end, it could be Gators blowing out the Tide right now and I wouldn't be here typing this stuff....) The Ying and Yang of life.....

OK folks, help him out - what does a team's "Pepperdine game" mean? I know - do you? :D

Remember NC State's win over Houston and Phi-Slamma-Jamma? the late Jimmy V dancing around the court?

http://www.statefansnation.com/index.php/a...nament-history/

Check out game #34

If NC State doesn't come back from 6 down with 24 seconds left against Pepperdine in the first round and doesn't go on to win in double overtime, Jimmy V isn't even in the gym doing that dance. Thus, the term 'Pepperdine Game'....
