Please don't say u weren't trash talkin, cause u don't want me to go back and dig things out. But now u know that i wasn't trash talkin, cause my prediction was almost true. So got ahead and say "#8" talks too much, cause i just tryed to warn u.

 

OHHH really?????? well ur coach CALLED our coach on the phone, and he said it before the game. GO ask him. Our coach doesnt lie to us.

NUMBER 8 and all of Science Hill, First, I am an old foe look at the date on the side when I joined Coach T( a long time ago) so I have been around awhile and based on the score you must have played a heck of a game.

#Second your Coach must have lied because I know Coach C and he would NEVER talk trash to your coach, he talks class> You should check the history of your coach, Bruin was right he is NOT known for his "truth talks"

Third-- in 2004, Science Hill came down to Farragut and beat Farragut, but guess what, Science Hill, was eliminated in sub state by Oak Ridge and never made it to states, By the Way Farragut won the State Championship that year

Fourth, Let see who is still on Coach T once playoffs and States start, usually the big talkers, quit posting

Fifth you get on here and say stop hating, but you talk so much crap, how can anyone appreciate what you say???

Sixth- Based on playoff history, if I was you , I would be hoping I got to skip Farragut in the playoffs

Seventh in less than a month all this will not matter :P

great job SH, number 8 you are hilarious, keep up the funny trash talk, you are what makes this site so much fun to go to. How did you rate your performance last night?

 

It was a weak game from me, I should have taken A LOT more 1 V 1, that i just didn't take. But the MOST important thing is that WE WON. I just KNOW by the time Destric starts i ll be on top of my game. The TEAM Comes first.

 

FHS I don't care what u have to say, WE slapped u three times, and u still don't want to back up. Chaser was a good defender and good luck to him, but that was about IT. I can see u are upset, but just take the defeat and move on.

I really like how u all stick up for Farragut. their players did good, but we did BETTER. U know what, Take ur History BULL CRAP somewhere else, cause SOCCER is not played on paper or in history Books. So go ahead and make ur list if that makes u feel better.

 

Wow i m just wondering what if SH would have lost 3-0? u all would prolly be jumping all over the place.

My advice to you, is take your victory and move on. Learn to be gracious in victory and defeat. You're only adding fuel to the fire.

 

My advice to Farragut (which I know your coach has already talked to you about) is go back to what you did best years ago. Let your play do the talking, and not your posts. Lion10L, you didn't do your team any favors.

 

There is a lot more soccer to be played.

I know people support farragut more than SH. But people need to accept the fact that there is a new Sheriff in town.

Is SH undefeated???? I can only laugh when i read these posts because it is like the Lakers beating the Suns...they think that they have won it all already, but there is still much more soccer to be played. The regular season is tuning up for the post-season. Farragut was at full strength, you did beat Farragut, but that doesnt mean that you are going to do anything later on; it simply means you have one more number in the win column....but go on and enjoy the victroy. I heard it was nice. I dont know anything about whose coach is calling other coaches or if a coach is inspiring, it doesnt matter. To call a division better than another one because of regular season is just dumb. Clearly the strongest region will have the best showing in state, and your division isn't quite their yet....and lets try to refrain from the use of clichets like "There is a new Sheriff in Town", you won a soccer game.

We drove down there, beat farragut, I scored and assisted, but trust me the win was all that matter to me. You can go on with your chaser talk. Am not going to sit here and say anything bad against him because he did his part as a defender, but am sure I had shots on goal, held the ball, and gave good passes while he was on DUTY lol. And things said on this site really don't mean much to me, cause you can win state today(and am not saying we did), and tomorrow someone will jump on here and say "I've got experience, You can't win it again, You are not good.".. so what matters? Oh and I was looking foward to seeing a goal or two from the farragut attack.

And to all the people who are chasing NUMBER8 all over this forum telling him to stop talking, honestly where were you people when this whole science hill/farragut thing started weeks ago to give your wise advises to both parties? We won, why not let it end with us celebrating?.. but No we celebrate and people jump on here and tell us what to do, and expect Number8 to shut up. YEA SCIENCE HILL WON 3-0, BUT FARRAGUT IS BETTER. We will only accept that if you people wanna have coacht talk powerhous and then the team that actually prove it on the field. If you are powerhouse, prove it on the field and forget about past glory.

Obviously ur screen name says what kind of person u r. FROM DAY 1 I have been saying SH is STRONG, but people say we are not as good as the knoxville team. So we beat West. "lucky shot", "i bet next time things would turn out different" was all the responds we got. So we beat CAK.... "Yea, ok". Then Now we beat farragut... "NO farragut is better"..."the history of soccer says u guys gonna lose" "SH beat Farragut last time, and lost later on".

U haven't even seen me play at my best. like I said it was a weak game from me, But the ONLY thing that matter i that our team did good. The only game that i was stisfied with myself was DB, except for on incident.

 

It is really funny how u come up with excuses already. now u r trying to say "THE ONLY reason we lost is because i was fauled and i couldn't play anymore"...

 

I hope i m not hearing a baby crying again. Now we can All let this matter go, WITH NO excuses but the fact that we were better or u can continue to find excuses and make me comment back.

      OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.

      They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.

      The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.

      I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
