Word through the grapevine down in DC is that they will be heading to Lavergne on May 18th for a little scrimmage game. Any thoughts or comments please feel free to let me hear.

Unless DC's defense has changed a great deal, then LaVergne's passing attack will beat them.

LaVergne's running attack is good also. The 'clone's' comment to me last night was LaVergne's defensive line was the toughest he faced last year. The 'clone' is the one that put out DC's 6'4"+ DT last year in the game with R'dale. Granted the DT's of DC were large they were NOT strong.

DC will need good DB's and a good D-Line to hang with LHS, because our O-Line will be dominant..i'm 100% confident they will...our run game should be a mixture of lightning and thunder.....Tillery running a 4.4, and we have 3 good SWOLL with good speed RB's...and our WR's are looking to be good..DC needs to have a solid running game...because our secondary will be sharp, though Ryan Williams(starting CB) might not be back from baseball...

Prediction (scrimmage score)

LHS 7 TD's

DC 2TD's

dc will hav to run on lhs because the defensive backfield is stacked with talent but dont get it twisted because the dbs will come up and lay a hit on you to jus ask anybody from their team.

p.s. ryan williams is safety not corner Hssportsfootball

naw homie, I could of sworn Ryan was a CB, Norman is safety...it said on the board in the office.. <_<

but yes, the secondary will hit you! I will never forget when Williams knocked out someone's earpad @ siegel..

I believe it will be a good scrimmage for both teams. Lavergne is fast. DC is big and tough every year. If DC has the same philosophy they have had since the school opened they will line down and run right at you. DC has i believe 7 returning starters from last season on defense. The whole secondary and 3 defensive lineman. I don't know much about the offensive players that are coming back. Should be a tough one though if DC's secondary holds up. I wish both teams the best of luck and pray for no injuries. I hope to be in attendance.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
