No they are not playing. MUS is playing Nease Fla Week 1 at Nease.

Thanks for the info. Nease should make a good matchup. They still should be good without Tebow. Did you see them on tv last year?

So did Jackson Prep not renew the series (i.e., was the series a year-to-year renewal deal), or did they back out of a game that was scheduled as part of the traditional two-year scheduling that occurred before the 2005 season? If the latter, that's pretty low.

 

Either way, however, MUS gets a better opponent out of the situation.

That's a shame, we always enjoyed beating up on those Jackson boys. But according to the article on the front page, it appears this game with Nease is a pretty big one.

I hope MUS represents Tennessee well, and I think they will.

 

It will be interesting to see how much firepower Nease's offense will have without Tebow. Nease played 28 games during his junior and senior seasons, and they scored 40 points or more 19 times, and averaged over 46 points a game during that stretch.

 

That tough MUS defense will have to come prepared for this one.
