jv players - question?

Is it ok for a player who only plays jv to play rec ball or travel ball before the school season is over? Is it the coaches call?

Most of the time it is the coaches call.

As far as I know TSSAA says you can't play or even practice with a league or travel team until you are released from your high school team. Thats the way it is done at Forrest.

 

 

Yes I was correct. I just checked the TSSAA Handbook and it says any TSSAA member player may not play or practice with any independent league or team until the completion of their season.

Saw a JV player playing on an outside team today.

I am a JV coach. Has to be only when the varsity season ends. Bottom line.
