Not that it really matters either but if I remember correctly giles came pretty far from shutting down anybody in that melrose game. Giles Co had a good team that year which makes it even more amazing how bad they got smoked at their own place.

 

Probably not the game you want to bring up if you are a GC fan

 

From everything that I can tell Giles has a much better team this year and appears to be pretty good. We should know a little more about that this Friday.

I personally think Richland will be the team to watch. If they can get past the Panthers of Lewis County...which I hope they can't..lol. They could just win the Region. The last 2 years when I played I knew they would be tough...and they were. Last season if it hadn't been for Clay Colley we would have lost that game. But he turned in the best single person performance I have ever seen in my life. I hope it turns out this season to be Lewis County 1st and Richland 2nd...but if Lewis County can't win it I will be pulling for Richland...Good Luck On The Season!
