that low i mean the highest i would have either one is 5

I said last year we may see a team from Region 4 in the playoffs with as many as 5 losses. It didn't go that way, but this year it may happen. There are too many good teams in Region 4 to make mistakes with. In plain words unless EVERY team plays mistake free football every Friday night, they stand a very good chance of LOSING!

Two years ago R'dale could make mistakes and STILL win by large numbers. It is NOT that way anymore. Yes R'dale is still powerfull, but other teams have gotten powerfull also now. To win now teams have to be powerfull and mistake free. That comes only one way. Players not only have to sweat, but they have to STUDY also.

Over the years I have watched players when they were on the sidelines talking and joking around when they should have been watching EVERY single move the other team did. For instance I watched game films with my son and would tip him off on opposing players bad habits and the moves they did that would give them away as to what they were gonna do. For instance one DT would ALWAYS dip his right shoulder before a swim move. This he did every time before the ball was even snapped. He GAVE his best move away every time.

Game films are for MUCH more than just for catching YOUR mistakes and something to laugh about when the final score was shown.

That is because they are NOT being taught 'HOW' to watch them. Unfortunately alot of coaches do not know how to watch them also. Not their fault as they have not been taught how to watch them either and are not provided enough quality films also. To really film a game properly it takes a MINIMUM of four cameras in four seperate locations at different levels. Scouting helps, but film is forever and beats memory EVERY time. And folks wondered why when I went to watch others play I had a small pocket tape recorder. I didn't have the time to write notes, but the tape had ALL my thoughts about the game.

Another tip for scouting, use two or more scouts and have them sit SEPERATELY in different locations. Give them ALL tape recorders and afterwards compare tapes while watching the game film.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
