Oakland always has a great auction every yr.The parents work their butts off at that place to see that it is done in style. Raymond Berry is one of my all time favorite players....been a fan since Johhny U days. In fact named my dog UNITAS.

You are right, Bacillum......football is IN THE AIR. Could you maybe let me in on the scrimmage schedule? I need to make some schedule adjustments to make sure that I can come....esp since a certain "party" is definitely BACKKKKK baby!!

2p I remember you saying this to us last year, Oakland must not expect much of themselves if they are picking themselves to lose games? You went on and on about one of our players guessing we would go 7-5 because a player should expect to go undefeated. So why are Oakland players predicting anything but a perfect season?

That is "if" you assume this F the Spear poster really "knows" a player at Oakland. You are pretty "gullible."

He has no reason to post that seeing as he is a Riverdale fan with no interest in Oakland really. And also Fear, 2priceless was picking Oakland to go undefeated last year and he scolded anyone who didn't pick their team to go undefeated and said they don't have a winners mentality.

Everyone knows that 2p is Oakland's "champion." No one really takes his picks seriously. You know this unless you are a "newbie?"

I'm simply calling out 2p on something that he did to us last year when we picked Siegel to go 7-5 or something close to that, which they did.

"Calling" him out? Why don't you just go "door to door" again?

Who cares what he says that his team will do? He is NEVER right anyway, but you have to admire his team loyalty for a dismal team that was once dominant.

Where were you when Siegel was winless?

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
