Bleacherbum
Does anyone know a player who went on to play in the SEC from West TN? What high school were they from? There was a left handed pitcher back about 5-6 years ago from Germantown...not sure of her name...she went to Ole Miss. I would say the majority of players if they are good enough from west tennessee go to Ole miss or Miss state. the travel squads from those areas dont get the exposure to be seen by alot of the Sec schools

Most of the girls that signed with Ole Miss and Mississppi State had other SEC offers, they chose those schools because OM is only an hour away and MS is two 1/2 hours away. Their parents get to see them play since the schools are close. You are right about the exposure part, only the Germantown Red Devils teams travel to exposure tournaments regularly.
