To be honest, I don't know enough to say anything.

No, in all seriousness, I know that Lexington has a talented sophomore class this year, and I do expect them to win Friday.

What's Riverside got this year?

I work with some Riverside alums, and believe me the rivalry is still there. I dont know why I havent seen more on coacht.

Ironically, Lexington's best player is the son of a former Riverside player and alumni. Thats right, he knew what school to bring him to!

Wanting to know, will there be a greased pig chase during Halftime.Isn't that what you educated hillbillies do? Greased Pig 35- 0 (lexington/Parsons).

 This coming from somebody that lives within a 30 mile radius of Henderson County. Why don't you come back as the id you used last year and post agian. Before you think up some excuses as to why you wasn't on last year, you might need

to delete some posts that you already have made. Ok, after you do that then come back with something as idiotic as what you have just posted. I would put this in terms that you would understand, but alas, I don't have a crayon.

That speedy WR burnt McKenzie twice Friday night, He's just a sophomore as well as Lexington's other reciver , offensive linemen, and and running backs so they will get better.

As far as just having 2 players, I think you forget Lexington has the best kicker in the state. He is good within 55 yards 95% of the time. Thats a huge weapon for a very very young team.

montague1, the statement I made was an "If" statement. I really don't know anything about Riverside this season and I do know Lexington will put some points on the board. I was more or less saying what I thought Riverside had to do to be in the game. The passing game ya'll showed against McKenzie is enough to beat a lot of teams that are just average (and especially less than average). All of us have to rebuild from time to time. And likely, next season it will be McKenzie's turn to start that process.

Lexington's kicker SHOULDN'T be a factor in this game. If he is it was a pretty tight game. Also, I didn't say that Lexington only had 2 players. I just noted that that particular compination of those 2 players will cause some folks grief this season. That's all I meant. Good luck tomorrow night!

Man, dont be so seriuos. I was just trying to get our guys some pub. Lexington has a history of having great football players that just dont get the offers they deserve, and I dont know why. So anytime I get a chance to throw some players names out there, I will. But, thanks for wishing us luck. :thumb:

LOL, I hear you. I just didn't want you to think I was dissin' Lexington (historically, a great football program). I'd never thought about it but, now that you mention it you don't see a lot of kids from Lexington getting "next level" attention. It's only been in the last 10-12 years that McKenzie kids have gotten the attention they deserve so I know what you mean.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
