Nice read OP. I played in that 05 game where Lexington fans were all over the place yelling "Red/White" an hour before the game. We ran into a better team, but I will never forget warming up to that crowd.

2005 Lexington Tigers vs Hardin County Tigers Both teams were undefeated coming in to week 7. Standing room only. Lexington won in 3 OT. Each team had multiple players that went on to play college ball.

Lexington won their district Monday shooting a team score of 308 at the Tennessee River Golf Club. They will advance to region at Shiloh Golf Course in Adamsville, TN. The Tigers were led by sophmore Chandler Grissom (72), junior Sam Hinson (74), junior Chase Grissom (77), and junior Mack Gardner (85). The defending state champs look to make it a two-peat this year.

Lexington moves to 20-3 with back to back 150 scores at Tennessee River and Pine Tree.

Milan would not have won if they would have played anywhere else but Milan. Put those two teams on a tough course and Lexington takes care of business.

Lexington is going to be a contender for state again this year because they only lost one guy.

I'm not so sure about this...Lexington loses one player, lone senior Chris Babb. The Tigers still have three sophmores, Chase Grissom, Sam Hinson, and Mack Gardner. Also, a freshman Chandler Grissom. Lexington will definetley be back at state the next two years. There is also a rumor about a transfer of a very good player that is a freshman right now. GO TIGERS!!!

Lexington won its 2nd ever State Championship in any sport Wednesday at Pickwick Landing. Way to go Tigers!
