Gallatin vs. Hillwood

way...and im sick but hopefully our team will do decently ...i kno we wont win but we'll c!!! GO TOPPERS!!!

Your evident sarcasm shows your stupidity, Gallatin is a good team i cant say the same about some of it's fans. Go to a metro school besides Hillsboro and Overton and you will see several obsticales that never come up in your private and rural areas, I know becaus i went to all three types of schools. Maybe you should have more of an understanding of things before you cut on people. You make me sick

Hilltopper, all I'm saying is that you shouldn't get on these boards and try to make it sound like that the kids at metro schools don't have much of a chance at winning because of all of the various obstacles that they have to face. In 2004 Hillwood went 12-1 before they made the move to 5-A and went 1-9. I understand that they were in 4-A in 2004, but where were those obstacles then? I rest my case.

Wow, Again with the Sensitivity!!!!!!!! No wonder Hillwood was so bad last year. If the players spew out the escuses you've been spewing out, then Hillwood has no hope. They are doomed before they start. Some teams are just over matched. Hillwood just can't match up against Gallatin, much less anyone else in the Region. Man up and just take this one on the chin! Hilltopper could talk the talk. Unfortunately, he was only one of a few who could make the routine tackle. Hilltopper's pride has gotten the better of him on this one. Like the old saying goes....... You can't make chicken salad out of chicken ? Somewhere down the line you need some darn chickens. Hillwood will have a few more chickens to play with in 07. Lighten up Hilltopper, the 12-1 season was a pretty special year. Don't discredit the hard work you guys put into that season.

There were plently that could make a tackle, especially since most of the guys played and were starters on that playoff team. It was just a big difference in the jump to 5-A. And by the way, Hilltopper did not play for the 12-1 team. He sat out that year.

k i agree with hilltopper. he's right. metro schools dont have the funds other schools do to recruite players. another thing .. hillwood had almost 2000 students in 2004-05. as soon as we were bumped up to 5A our student population dropped by about 450 students. we lost seniors, and alot of good players quit as a result of our losing streak. so i would make sure i knew what i was talkin about next time

"Don't have funds other schools do to recruite players"! What is that all about? Funds and Recruiting in the same sentence. You lost all credibility with that one sentence.

 

Anyway I guess Gallatin will take their "Player's on Payroll" and still roll tonight. While I may agree that winning at a Metro School may be tough, your reasoning is way off base. You could have thrown out "Lack of Spring Practice" or "Demographics of Players", but lack of funds to recruit. Please. Your insulting the rest of the board by posting such nonsense.

Aight one last post and i'm going to fade away first off i was on the 12-1 team and i started "Janeti" look it up i didnt play my sophomore year. as for everyone else everyone that says i'm being sensitive. yeah i walked the halls of hillwood for four years. there are no excuses when it comes to winning and loosing. But as long as hillwood does make excuses and they always will cuz it's some metro thing hillwood will never be able to compete with the big boys. The year we were so good we had so much talent it was ridiculous. We should of at least gone to state but a certain coach walked out of practice on us Twice, both were defensive days thus explains why white house's backs were completely unaccountaed for. Well i dont mean to bring up the past but yall pretty much forced me to bring it up.
