I agree with Herbie's assessment. As I mentioned in another post, does anyone have enough offense to hang with McCallie? Didn't see anywhere near enough at the Baylor BA tussle.

well riverdale never passed against mccallie and almost won, ba got dat new back jordan, ford, caffee, and kottas so their offense has enough talent to ahang with mccallie, and someone needs to tell the chatoongan dat baylor is a mediocre team..

ba and mccallie will be a great game but they got games this week they cant overlook

BA stuggled with a very mediocre Baylor team. BA's defense was put into many tough situations in the first half and did a good job only giving up one TD. BA's defense totally dominated in the 2nd half. The BA offense is another story. The running game is good enough to beat mediocre teams on its own. They will not be able to just run against good teams. This offense looks like the "same old " BA offense that loses in big games because it is to predictable. Their offense this year is tunring away from a vertical passing attack to a "horizontal" passing attack. 3 completions / 9 attempts for 9 yards, that will strike fear in the hearts of upcoming BA opponents. This BA defense better begin playing REAL good becuase this offense will struggle against teams putting 8 and 9 players in the box. No passing game NO gold ball this year

I thought that BA was suppose to have a high powered offense this year since they have their "new" QB. 3 for 9 for a total of 6 yards, that want cut it against the likes of McCallie, MUS and MBA. BA has always been able to run the ball but being a one dimensional team today want get the job done.

They have the players to be overwhelming. So, high powered players would be accurate as of now. There has been very litttle "high powered offense". You are exactly right. If they show up against McCallie, MUS or MBA the way they have the past two weeks - they will have little chance.
