best lineback in the state? Chris Donald is listed by Rivals as the #1 linebacker........... in the country. And the #11 prospect overall.

Thats on paper and i have seen that paper wrong many times... Have you seen Tavis play? If not you missing the best linebacker around. We'll see what they do on the next level....

I'm going to make a comment that may not be too popular. Chris Donald is not a great high school linebacker. I've played against several who were considerably better. I say this after playing against and watching film of him for 3 years. 6-2, 220, 4.6 he's got tons of athleticism and upside. I'm sure he benches and cleans way up there. He is a great athlete and one of the best ball carriers I've ever seen but he's not that great at linebacker. If you go back and watch the films you'll notice that 95% of his big plays on defense are when he goes untouched. Huntingdon stunts linebackers all the time and if an offensive line misses an assignment....thats when he gets his big plays. I watched our 165 lb. TE wear his tail out last year. Every play under his pads driving him downfield. Alot of coaches see #1 linebacker in the nation and get scared so they run away from him. Guess what. 4.6 speed. He chases it down from the backside. Teams would be alot more succesfull running right at him.
