cumberland county, ouch

I was just looking at the scores in the state and saw where Cumberland County had not scored this season and has already played 3 games. There were only 4 other teams who had not scored and one of those was Red Boiling Springs. I have some interest because we used to go to Wal-mart there (have to stop that) and can not believe what has happened in Crossville. I can remember the days of Curt Watson and many of his teammates who ruled the upper cumberland. What would it take to get back to that

I know how you guys feel at Warren Co. we had one of the longest losing streaks in the state It has gotten a little better but not much. Just hang in there.

How is the new school going to effect your sports programs? Will you guys stay 5A or will either school be in a different classification?

Tough yr for the Jets. They actually had a chance against FC. A fourth and one went bad and the block punt for a score didn't help. Cumberland plays hard...it will take a few yrs.

I think both schools will be in AAA when it is redone.

i heard some kids that play football say their coach was gonna play the varsity at the jv games, said they was playing the varsity at the stone game friday night. can they play varsity at the jv games.

I think if given some time Tony Shultz will get things going in the right direction. With it being his first year and the commotion with the new school in the county, things may be a little unsettled this year. I know Tony personally and I think if he has the right support from the administration, his staff, fans and players he will be successful. I'm pulling for him and the Jets.

Coach Shultz gambled in the game Last Friday by bring the varsity to play the stone JV. The Jets finally scored a TD, but they lost the game. I hated this for the seniors. We wish them all the luck in the world for the remaining season.
