Dayton City. We switched to the double wing/wing T just like the HS and are blessed with speed. We have 2 running backs with 100+ yds per game and our QB is 9 of 9/about 200 yds/ no ints - Game story

 

Seq Co - 30-6

Whitwell - 40-8

Dayton City 30-0

Next at Bridgeport (AL) (9/14) then at Jasper (9/28)

Travis Millard. He has a good arm but doesn't always make the best decision of who to throw to. Typical 8th grader. He throws into traffic a little more than we would like. Luckily his favorite target is tall, fast, has good hands and can catch in traffic. He is doing a good job of running the offense which can get a little confusing at times with all the motion and misdirection. Our passing game is improving and should help us out down the road since we have Bridgeport, Jasper, Bledsoe and Spring City left. All will be tough games

Those are some pretty tough teams to play. Odd to say this, but Spring City may be the weakest of the four......

 

Spring City is always well coached so even in a down year they will be tough. at least we have them at home. B'port lost to Stevenson by 2 TDs so I don't know if they are down too or if Stevenson is that good this year. We will find out about B'port on Thursday
