BGA def East Ridge in the 1st round, 25-19, 25-18.

 

BGA then lost to Baylor in the Quarter-Finals, 15-25, 17-25.

I sure BGA will be seeking revenge against Baylor as they are in the same pool on Friday, 9-15-06 at the Brentwood Invitational.

Pagemen, it might be good for an analysis from somone as to the overall strength of teams this year compared to the past few years, I really get a feeling that the play might have been stronger this year.

For me it's hard to remember most anything from last year or the year before, especially about other teams. But I would say that in general this year (not just the Choo Choo) I have seen "better" volleyball. For example, I have seen a lot of improvement by some of the teams that have not traditionally fared well.

I had rather Pageman comment on this too and maybe GLJ, but my impression of 7AAA is that the overall strength is better and the coaching seems better. The Brentwood Tournaments I have seen also gives me a better feel for the overall strength which is good or Brentwood has a good analysis of the better teams they are trying to attract.
