THE REBELS HAVE DROPPED 2 STRAIGHT, NO SUPRISE TO ANYONE WHO KNOWS ANYTHING ABOUT FOOTBALL.THEY HAVE JUST DROPPED 2 IN A ROW TO THE REGION CHAMPS AND REGION RUNNER UPS.IF I HAD TO MAKE A PREDICTION RIGHT NOW IT WOULD BE CAMDEN(1) LEWIS CO.(2).BUT THE QUESTION IS CAN THEY STILL PRODUCE A SEASON THAT THEY AND THE COMMUNITY CAN BE PROUD OF?I SAY THEY CAN. WITH THE REGION SCORES UNFOLDING THE WAY THEY HAVE I BELIEVE THAT 3-8 IS WIDE OPEN.REMEMBER THE REBELS HAVE GONE 5-35 IN THE PAST 4 YEARS.THEY HAVE NOT BEEN .500 AFTER 4 GAMES IN A LONG TIME. WITH A BYE WEEK COMING UP AND A LOOK OF THE LAST HALF OF THE REGION I THINK THAT 5-5 OR 6-4 IS A REAL POSSIBILITY, THAT WOULD BE A HUGE STEP FOR A PROGRAM WHO HAS NOT SEEN A WINNING SEASON SINCE THE LATE 70S EARLY 80S I BELIEVE YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO GIVE THE COMMUNIYT SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF. GOOD LUCK REBELS!

You will beat Houston Co. and win against either Loretto or Adamsville, finishing 4-6.

You probably will beat Adamsville, maybe Riverside, Houston County will be a toss up. Houston County only stayed close to Waverly because of turnovers and several starters out late in game with injuries. Houston County only had 15 yards on 22 carries for the game.

1. Camden

2. Lewis County

3. Waverly

4. Richland

ha, yea they should win one. I dont kno if it will be against the Rebs though. SC might shoot themselves in the foot if u give 'em a gun, we'll jus have to wait and see. I still think the rebels will go .500 on the season with a win over their Rival Irish club. good luck. try to win some games [stewart Co.]

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
