Should be another great battle. Powell may have the edge on experience and talent. Halls has looked good agains inferior opponents but has not against playoff caliber teams.

Let's keep this thread open the entire week, okay.

We all know that the painting artists who like to show off their work are never players and are rarely even fans. They probably don't know what a football is.

Way Powell played tonight, Halls will beat them, I think it will be a close game somewhere around a fieldgoal which I got a bad fealing when it comes down to a FG with Oconner playing against powell.

do you think it will be raining, bc the last 2 games have been in the rain with the worse being 2 years ago when they had to play in Hurrican Ivan

As of right now it looks like next friday is going to be partially cloudy and a high of 79/ low of 55 but we will see.

I dont think the weather will matter all that much, Powell has got to learn to hold onto the ball, IM about to watch my recording of the game tonight I left a bit early cause of some buisness I had to take care of so I have to see the end B)

Agreed HaveitYourWay, I haven't ever seen anything like that 56 yarder. I think it even got the officials under the goalposts excited. I sure hope the Vols have a spot for that boy.

O'Conner's dad says UT may not make an offer to Logan since they already have a couple of kickers on scholarship. They do like him and they might invite him to walk-on but he might replace his brother at Marshall.

I would be amazed if he doesn't get some offers from SEC schools though.

I gotta say, with the exception of O'Conner, neither of these teams are playing well at all so far this season. Powell continues to have problems holding onto the football, I thought they may have found some offense last week against Farragut, but it was just a tease. Halls just lacks all-around athleticism this year, but they did make a horrible Clinton team look even worse. Nonetheless, both of these teams seem to be a lot more on-par than I would have predicted back in August. It should be a great game next week.
