As far as being happy O Conner missing, You bet I am, Powell won the game because of it.

 

If It was powell missing the extra point You guys know you would be thrilled whit it.

By the way....on the class issue....the Powell basketaball team isnt just loaded with classy players to say the least.

Pretty good thanks....We return all 5 starters and last Sunday in Oak Ridge fall league we beat Bradley Central who has a kid going to Clemson, another going to MTSU, and another undecided but going smaller D1 and we beat Oak Ridge....Granted OR didnt have their starting PG but we didnt have our 2 starting posts(Varner and Cooper) for either of the games.

Clay, I got a fealing your going to hand it to powell this year, I know that powell should win. But you guys have a point to prove after last years DC game, im pretty sure you guys have the powell halls game marked off already and are waiting on it to get here. It should be fun

Look, O'Conner choked, period. Yes, the snapper and the holder makes a big difference in high school football, but bottom line, he couldn't make the PAT he needed. I feel bad for him, but he's had a lot of success this year, and a great player finds a way to shake off the bad plays and come up big next time. As a Powell fan, I'm glad that he missed those kicks. Don't be so hard on PowellFan. If the tables were turned, and it was Kenny Cruze throwing an interception on the last play of the game in the endzone to lose, I'm sure Halls fans would be just as happy with the mistake and the outcome.

Well yes that was embarrassing last year and yes the games this year will be special but just like tonight....In any sport....All Halls-Powell games are special.
