    • I really enjoyed this game.  Congratulations to Macon County.
    • Bingo, kid was a difference maker.
    • Serious question...Can anyone print the booster club information for Alcoa on this board. There's some others out here that need to learn how to organize. Not looking for anything "suspect / wink-wink", but just need some "stars" that are willing to transfer... Such as: C. Cherry (Austin-East), C. Pagach (Independence), B. Winton (IMG), S. McCrary (California), C.Burden (Sevier County)....I think it's great Alcoa had these athletes pick a spot to play and transfer in and show up at Alcoa. No good football schools in California I guess.
    • Congratulations to Oakland. Glad Duane Morris is going to be a Vol.
    • lol, yes it is! No it’s not an excuse! Also those schools with over 1000 lots of times don’t spend the money or effort on wrestling, just facts, they would rather spend the money on sports like football or basketball. Always depends on what priorities a school wants to make OR what a school’s alumni want to pour their money into. But to say it’s not an advantage is hilarious. Rules state MS can’t practice with high school teams or they can face not being elig. Any idea how long high school season is compared to Middle School? MS is about a month and half with practices. High school is much longer. Also high school kids cannot participate in AAU tourneys during high school season so MS kids can’t move up and wrestle higher age groups for better competition during that time, while 8th graders that can participate for their high schools get all of that. I mean do you not think that even teams with full rosters like a Soddy would love to be able to groom their 8th graders to be better prepared for their 9th grade season? I mean Cleveland has some stud 8th graders I’m sure would love to be able to participate with their high school practices and tournaments! It’s one of those good for me but not for thee. So let’s help those schools out that can’t fill a full roster and let them all let 8th graders wrestle for their high school teams. MS wrestling is a joke in this state so I think it would help everyone.
