Interesting article. I've always found Stephen Hargis to be fair and balanced. He is also a pretty likeable guy for a Doogie Howser look-alike! Some of the Sequatchie Valley folks don't really like him because he has the audacity to pick against their teams from time to time. (Especially since he is a Pittsburg boy!)

 

As for Flatt, like most successful people (not just coaches) he is easy to dislike. My observation (I have had some fairly close dealings with him in the past) is that he doesn't really care whether most people like him or not. He seems pretty intent on the task at hand, which in most cases has been winning football games. I believe most successful people view misperceptions of others as part of the price one pays for excellence and achievement.
