Polk Co. @ Loudon

The Wildcats will be fired up about this game trying to get redemption from last year. If that will happen or not, we'll see Friday at about 9:00 when the final horn sounds.

Polk by 2!!!

J. Maynard has a big game on the D-Line, Will Ledford has a big game running. Ta. Davis might get em another return, Ty. Davis 3 receptions 1 T.D.

 

Tyler Campbell has a huge game in the running game, Josh Hawkins makes some big plays on Defense!! Should be an exciting game!!! Both teams are highly ranked in their Qualifications and both have great talent and great coaches.

What did I say, Maynard has a great game on defense, Willie Ledford score the game winning touchdown, Tanner Davis didnt have good returns but recovered a fumble, and Tyler Davis had exactly 3 receptions and 1 T.D. I said Polk by 2 everyone thought I was stupid and Polk won by 4.

We (Loudon Redskins) have only played Polk Co. a total of five times, winning every contest. Here is a list including the missing game you could not find:

 

1932 27-25 W

1983 48-12 W

1984 38-21 W

1986 28-7 W

2005 34-12 W

2006 13-17 L

The Loudon Resdkins have yet to loose to the Polk Co. Wildcats.

It was a great game, My ears are still ringing. Polk came with a big crowd, Hawkins should have been the QB, it might have been a different ballgame, because the other tailback was good aswell and they could have done a great option, loudons QB was very slow and very noticeable on the hand off, was not quick.

I agree with fan2fan...if we want to stay competive we're going to have to be able to adjust during the game and stop giving up big plays

Polk County did a great job of containing the Loudon offense.....appeared the team was ready to play....I am not sure what is going on in the ReDSKIN NATION but the coaches better get a handle on it or we have a long season remainder and a short post season if there is one....congratualtions Wildcats and I hope you take your region.

 

Just a few reasons why!!!!

 

1. Discipline - GONE!! There is none.

Example - Players quit one day and back the next. ('03,'04)

2. Practice - What's the old saying? "You will play the way you practice"

3. 2 minute offense - With players still going in motion. HELLO!!!

4. 4th down and 1 with two very good running backs.

5. Why does Josh Hawkins just play offense? This is not UT, it is LHS!!!!

6. And get rid of the bandanna's, it looks like the da-- Raiders!! OOps

Maybe thats why we are playing like them?

7. Coaches, it's time you take your hand and reach around and pull your

own head out. Before we end up 5-5. And NO that's not OK!

Your right, why doesn't he play defense. Do you guess he knows he is committed and is playing easy, trying not to get hurt. Because polk could not tackle him in first half real good. Second half they where trying tackle him around the legs that was the only way it seems to get him down.
