Meigs is on kind of a roll. Can they keep it up against a much improved Tellico?

Whats your take?

 

Well Tellico has improved alot....an they have proven tht they can win if they play at their best.....meigs is on a role but i've seen at the first half of east ridge tht if the tigers dnt have their heads in tha game they will play sloppy.....but still i say tigers will pull another victory......my predictions.....meigs- 27 tellico- 7

DON'T COUNT OUT TELLICO, THEY ARE ONE OF THESE TEAMS THAT CAN UPSET YOU, I WATCH THEM AT POLK CO. THEY WHERE VERY IMPRESSIVE. THEY GOT NOTHING TO LOSE ATTITUDE, PLAYERS ARE ALOT BIGGER AND MORE TALENT ASWELL. MEIGS 21 TELLICO 14

 

 

 

Tellico is improved, but I dont think it will be much of a game. I believe Tellico may surprise some of the teams in this region, but not Meigs, Polk, or Notre Dame. Dont get me wrong, any team can screw up any giving friday, but not enough to give tellico chance to win....im going meigs 35-0

Wow....some pretty close predictions since the score was 35-7. I also appreciate the way you guys are showing respect to Tellico considering the recent past, 1 or 2 wins in the past 4 years. I graduated from there and coming from an alumni, I really do appreciate the class you have shown on here.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
