ok what do yall think about Independence NOT moving ahead of high ranked Franklin after defeating them 23-17 on friday?

Class 5A

Gallatin not even being ranked in the Top Five is crazy. Have they even allowed a point yet this year?????

Dickson Co. could put themselves in the Top Ten with a win over Riverdale this week.

Indy should be ranked ahead of Franklin since they did beat the Rebels on the field. If they run the table the rest of the regular season I believe they'll jump FHS in the poll.

Class 4A

It's close to perfect with the exception that I would have Maplewood higher than seven.

Class 3A

I can't argue with #'s 1-7. All of those teams have what it takes to win a state title this year. Dyersburg's loss should have dropped them further than from #6-#8. Fayette Ware & Station Camp are both unbeaten and untested on the year.

Where is Sheffield???? They are unbeaten and not even included in the "others" part of the poll.

Class 2A

Westview and Humboldt deserve to be Top Ten teams. Camden did lose to Westview but they also beat Huntingdon. Loudon is not a Top Ten team. Fairview's lone loss came big to Goodpasture. How come their loss penalizes them more than Loudon's being blown away by Alcoa. Goodpasture is #1.

Class 1A

It's like 4A in the sense that it's close to perfect. My only argument is how come Eagleville is getting no love. Their lone blemish came against Jo Byrns.

Their lone loss is what is hurting them now.

5A

Independence needs to be higher, agreed.

Dickson County should be in the top 10.

Lebanon should get some notice if they play well.

3A

I personally think that Knox Catholic is the number 1, but with Fulton beating Alcoa, I guess that is the reason why it is so.

Kingston and Carter are both betteer than Jackson South Side and Giles County.

2A

It is all messed up. The order is questionable. Camden is overated, not even a top 10 team.

Smith County is a bottom half of the top 10 for sure, with their only loss to Catholic.

1A

Gordonsville should have atleast 12 votes! They will get there.

So will Trousdale by the end of the season now that Satterfield is back.
