It doesnt look like they will be beat in the regular season. Does any one think they can make it all the way

I think you are getting WAY AHEAD of yourself.

Region 5-3a will have a say....I doubt you will handle the private school from Nashville. They are head and shoulders above the rest of the west and I don't care for the school....facts are facts. They are loaded and you always play a few patsies...which looks good but doesn't pave the way to the "golden ball". Sorry, I know CC has been loading up for this year...but it won't happen.

They're my pick and I'll be rootin for PA and the boys but If you're going all the way you're just a third of the way there. Lot of games to be played. And not that they can control it but Crockett must keep everyone healthy.

Trust me. The Cavs are thinking about one thing: Ripley. Gold balls and Murfreesboro are weeks and weeks away and not on the top 10 list of things they are worried about right now.

And bulldog69....you never have gotten over Crockett County putting your Page team out of the playoffs in '01, '03, and '04.

Ripley will be by far the best defensive team CC will play. Big and mobile. The Ripley offense when we (Dyersburg played them) was a work in progress as Coach Wheeler was shifting over to the Wing T he had run over at Covington. I'm sure they have added more to it and will smooth out the rough spots. I think fans of the area need to understand what an excellent job Wheeler has done since he took over the team in late summer under less than the best of circumstances, including losing the kid who was to have been his starting QB.

Yes I have ... we were just an above average team...what I can't get over is the patsy schedule you always had in your old region. If I remember....l one time we came in as a 4th seed and beat Earnest Williams up so bad he did not finish the game and then the next round Greenbrier shut you down,,,and we were a 4th seed. The last win we had so many out with injuries, we couldn't have beat a 7th seed. That injury bug never happens much over there with you with so many PATSIES around. You still don't travel and play up so the taste of that gold ball won't ever be there...ol PA will be a winning legend but not whole ball of wax

ANNNNDDD ........you must be dwelling in the proverbial PAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't beat DL...it is plain and simple .......too much of everything and surely if your region is so tough you won't have any bumps and bruises..... I think you make the semi's your area is stiil weak...but you will probably be be in the semi's ...but don't feed the drivel about gold when you haven't sniffed it lately.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
