i want oakland to win but the problem is a team has to start scoring and Laverne is going to score, so i just dont see how oakland can when...oooo wait i kno i kno 48 nebraska!! or the hitch route 20 times...

i wont oakland to get the W but they only have offence against garbage teams unless they come out scoring they dont have a chance, but if they can put at least 3 TDs up i would say oakland wins..

LaVergne scares the heck out of me because I really havent gotten a good read on whether this team is playoff worthy or not. Offensively, they are pretty tough, but our defense has answered the call the whole season and I see no reason why the wont in this game

I feel like we will be able to run the football against LaVergne and if we can continue to throw the football, I like our chances to win this game and make the playoffs, will be nice to be at home after a few weeks on the road

in the 3rd quarter against LC Oakland scored 2 touchdowns pretty quickly. if oakland's offense plays like that the whole game they would win big.

I haven't seen LaVergne in a while, but we(Lincoln County) went to camp with them and became well acquainted there. Unless LaVergne has improved a lot since then, I'm picking Oakland because it has been my experience that Oakland is a more physical team, especially on D. If a good O is pitted against a good physical D, I pick the D pretty much every time. Just a word up to LaVergne.......KAELIN GRIFFITH IS NO JOKE! They need to stop him, or they're gonna have a long night on O.

LC....congrats on the win, and thanks and the praise for Kaelin. He has worked hard to get where he is and that means a lot coming from a competitor such as yourself.

Lavergne does not have a win in the region. Their 3 wins have been againstnon-region teams that are struggling. We owe them a lil payback from last yr.However, I am sure that Lavergne's confidence is at an alltime high right now.

Oakland needs to take control of this one early, forget about losing in OT at the PIT, and concentrate on another region win.

    • Gleason all over west Carroll in scrimmage. Gleason is big and fast
    • Defending 2A state Champs Westview Lady Chargers are pretty tough. They lost a bunch of production off last year's squad but returned some talent as well. They still McCall Simms, a Tennesseee Lady Vol softball commit as well as solid talent around the diamond. I dont think they are as good as last season but they will definitely be a tough out. Huntingdon Lady Mustangs seem to be pretty stout as well. Don't know much about Riverside other than Westview defeated them earlier in regions. West Tennessee softball is pretty solid all around id say.
    • Eagleville couldn’t catch up to Jones, he did have his location issues but in that game Eagleville popped up everything and the one hit they did have could have been ruled an error. Jeffcoat was a lot sharper in the beginning of the season last year than the end. ER ran out of pitching and still was in striking distance but none the less the better team one. Last seasons tournament was A LOT more balanced and talented. South Pitts starter is a Lefty who was low 80’s but couldn’t maintain his velo throughout the  outing, their #2 was more impressive last year, we knocked him around this year and his mph was down some. Their #3 isn’t bad neither, throws a lot of strikes and sits high 70’s.
    • He actually had a really solid spring.  I could see him getting some backup snaps on offense and be a regular on special teams.  Really athletic kid who can run.
