I gotta go with Pittsburg this year. They are a great team with lots of hear, speed & potential. This game should be Pittsburg all the way, as long as the officials from the Grace Academy game aren't there! I haven't seen calls like they made since the Jasper game last year. And that's BAD! Did anyone happen to witness that horrible display of officiating?

I dont know if you saw the score but here it is SP-54 G-14 if that aint a blow out than I dont know what is yes are 1st string was in most of the game but we killed them and about those turnovers we cause all those turnovers. Was yall 1st string in the whole game. Yall dont own us that the samething boyd said and what happen to them. Hope everybody comes and enjoys us beating jasper this friday.

I agree. Not sure which Grace Game he was talking about but the score could've been 72-0, if the refs hadn't decided to keep it close. IT WAS TOTALLY OBVIOUS TO ANYONE WHO KNOWS A THING ABOUT FOOTBALL! Jasper far from owns us! When a 2A school bases their season on how they do against a 1A school, that's bad! By the way, how many playoff games has Jasper won since Eric Westmoreland played? All I can say is GO PIRATES GO! At least we have a prayer at a winning season (yet again!)

The calling was not completely one sided but bad calls went against SP a majority of the time and affected SP's scoring more. There were SP TDs called back and several drives killed. Those clowns were at a JR High game and couldn't even get the ball lined up correctly on the kickoff. They should never have been at a HS game, they need to go back to class and learn the rules then practice at pee-wee games first. Grace had a few bad calls on them but not TDs called back or drive killers. Grace's QB is a good player no doubt but without bad calls he doesn't even get 1 of the 2 TDs and posssible neither. If you weren't there you can not understand just how bad the refs were. I'll stay with SP over Jasper by 6

I see Slick Richard is still dreaming. You can park (hummer? yea right. pic below) in the same ditch that you were going to park the moped in. Not all refs just a bunch of them.

I for one will only Bit....ahhh..gripe about officiating (and only for good reason) following a win. So...no...not all!!!

I've never used officiating as an excuse for a loss. I firmly believe that you should have yourself in a position to where the officials can't determine the outcome by blown/missed calls. So..... no.... if we lose this game I'll be one of the first on here to congratulate the Pirates. If you've kept up with my posts all season, I've already said that SP has a really good team. But I do enjoy this rivalry........

 

Just Checking :justwrestle: This will be one of the best games played in HS football this year...mark it down!!
