Surprised that Unicoi doesn't give it to their big fullback more. He's a big, hard-hitter, and he's averaging about 4.5 yds. per carry, but they only seem to use him in short yardage and goal line situations.

Im glad you see it the same way as I do. He has been banged up all year and still has good numbers. Betsy game was the first time he's been 100%.

So I guess prior to last week, people would say North would pretty much win this game no problems. After last week, we now see we have two teams that are very evenly matched. This should prove to be one of the games I'll keep an eye on this week.

 

Congrats to Unicoi last week, you all beat Elizabethton, I won't let other members of this forum make it look like Elizabethton lost the game on accident, you brought a big win home for your program.

Good win for the UC re-build program last beat Elizabethon in 1967 when they were a part of the original BIG 7 Conference (SH, DB, Eliz,Green., Morr. East, Erwin and Bristol.

North will keep it on the ground and grind out another ugly win. Should be a low scoring game .

I think you need to come to the understanding that things are more evenly matched in the two conferences than you think. North, South, TN High, all look to be decent teams that could play well against one another. We haven't seen North play two of them, so we don't know how "overrated" they are yet. Stranger things can happen this year, I wouldn't count North out of things yet.
