The Hermit
Northside is coming off two good wins, can they continue to roll?
Kublah
I've heard a lot of bad things about East's new coach. But, he definetley is working those kids hard. I drove by East High tonight after 7, and the team was out there running gassers in complete darkness. That means they had already been practicing for about four hours. yikes

58Indians22
I am sooooo proud of the Indians, but the rest of the season does concern me. I think that Humboldt and JCM took for granted that NS would be an easy win and looked past us to other games. That will no longer happen and NS must be ready for every game they play. The boys took the Hardin Co. loss hard and have been able to build off of that. We must play good ball at East. Even though it is not a region game, it can show us how the other region will look for playoffs. Is that region really as down as people are saying??? I don't know. What I do know is that a win will do bunches for our confidence and a loss will have us regrouping before a big region game against Brighton. He is playing a lot of young guys. Quite a few are ninth graders, and they were not able to conduct a spring practice. Don't take this team lightly. They are capable of beating Northside. They have actually been getting better.
juicyt
East has definately descended the past two years, but the one thing they do have going for them is that Qb Brandon Small is still there. That guy is a playmaker. If Northside contains him then they win easily. If they don't....it could be a long ride home for the indians
cougarmike
Watch out N.S. even though they aren't as good as last year they can win with their QB and receivers. They tried to out score Millington, but lost because they didn't have any defense. The SIDE should run the ball and keep it away from Small, the QB, and burn up the clock force East to play catch up also be ready to play pass defense. Good luck and win for region 7. orangemoundwest
A big win for East tonight. Could it be that the reported demise of Memphis East football is a bit premature?
PackOfWolves
A big win for East tonight. Could it be that the reported demise of Memphis East football is a bit premature? Hey I told you they were getting better. They still have a long way to go. Made tons of mistakes tonight. It really should have been more lopsided, but we'll take what we can get right now. Go MUSTANGS!! Go Region 8!!

Sole possession of 3rd place in the region is within grasp.
