Adamsville comes to Stewart County

i'm going with Adamsville. Since Stewart Co. couldn't squeak it out over Houston Co. I think Adamsville wins by 10.

We play Stewart, then come home for Loretto and Richland.

 

I think our chances are great against the first 2 but I hink we will be in a battle with Richland. Papa you have seen both of us, Who do you see wining? I think Adamsville wins all three as they continue to improve each week.

 

I think you will win all three. STewart is Stewart, Loretto is down and you play them at home, Richland has a decent team but you get them at your place and I think if you turn Shoate loose on them, they won't know what hit em. Good luck, I'm rooting for you. You guys have class.

Meanjean, no one wants a Fairview fan. Stay up there. They (Fairview) need all the fans they can get. Especially when they play someone from 6AA.

Aville should win since Stewart don't got Bagwell. Also how is Bagwell? Aville will win the next 2 games but won't beat richland.

Papatiger thanks. I am looking forward to seeing LC, Camden, and Waverly in the playoffs I think all three defenses could surprise some people. We have a long road to get W's in the next three games but if we play like we did on our scoring drive against camden some of these games could get ugly. Also if our defense shows up and plays like we did against Waverly and LC in the first half we will be in good shape. Shoate has some unfinished business with Richland stemming from last years game when he got kicked and screamed at by their fans on the sideline. Up to that point he averaged about 12 yards a carry that night. It would be big for our program to go from and embarrassing 1-9 to a 5-5 record and make playoffs. This would be big building blocks for the years to come. The coaching staff has not quit on these kids all year and will have them fired up at a chance to make the playoffs. After that anything could happen.

 

 

Goodluck to all region 6-aa teams the next few weeks. Hope injuries are non-existent.

First off Shoate did not get kicked,he did get screamed at because he hit our quarterback late and into the fence which is fifteen feet from out of bounds!! He is a good player, he just got out of control that play,but in no way would he of changed the outcome of that game. It was decided from kickoff that Richland would be victorious last year on senior night.

 

Richland wins this game and goes to playoffs!

week 10 is goina be full of great games....adamsville will win this week and next and face richland 4 a good ol fashiond fight 4 the last playoff spot, both teams will know they need the win to keep playin but i believe w/ it in adamsville that will help them out alot...also shoate will do sum damage....another game to watch will be camden and lewis county another big game...camden will lose 2 waverly this week but win next week and lc will win the next culpe games...this game will be important and very big

I did not say he would have changed the outcome of that game that night. Our coach at the time came in with the mindset that he was going to pass the football. It was out of hand early as we kept going three and out. I will tell you do not come to A'ville thinking you will get the game handed to you on a silver platter. I promise you will be in a fight for your lives especially if we win the next 2 weeks and still have a chance at the playoffs.

 

By the way I guess the fan that was escorted away from the fence was not kicking the fence when they landed next to it was he? The head ref said the only reason he ejected Shoate was because if he stayed in the was know way they could control the fans.

 

Also the hit was late, but it was not fifteen yards out of bounds late. The kid had just stepped out and then turned right back up field. Shoate swears he never saw him step out but kept playing hard. There was no dirty play involved just hardnosed hustle. One more time, I did agree with you that the hit was late, just not as late as you mentioned in your post.

Just so you know we were trying to convert thefirst down that ended up something like 1st and 25 after penalties. By no means were we trying to run up the score. We are not THAT good.

 

#74 was very good. He was shutting down every trap we teid to run. Your backs really ran hard. I hope we can keep this momentum for the next 2 weeks. If so we make the playoffs which will be huge for our team this year. It will only help us in the building process.
