Please submit your district tournament matches using the "Add a game" pop-up on your team's schedule. Please indicate your District and Classification in the "Details" section. If you a playing on a neutral court, please check that and the site where the tournament is being played.

Please keep in mind that the matches must be approved by CoachT before they actually appear on your schedule. The results can not be entered on the scoreboard if the match is not shown on your schedule. If you make a mistake, please email coacht@coacht.com with the correction and include the link to your team's schedule where the error can be corrected quickly by CoachT.

Thanks for your help and good luck to your team.

PM, this is a "bit" off subject but has to do with District tournaments. I was just reading the article (link on CoachT) about District 1-AAA and it says they play a double-elimination format, once they get down to the "final 4". I just found that interesting, when it seems all of the other districts are single-elimination, all the way through. It seems there would be some sort of consistent state format to be followed?

I think the TSSAA states that the district shall determine it's champion by any method they choose. They don't even have to have a tournament if the coaches vote that way. I guess this particular districit voted for a double-elimination format. If a district has a small number of teams, I guess that would work. It would be more consistent if all the districts played the same format, however.

Another interesting fact about this tourney is that they voted not to accept TSSAA passes. How funny is that?

BigReno, the admission policy was probably voted on by the district coaches involved. I know that in the case of TACA passes, they usually are not accepted after the regular season. TSSAA passes are usually good until the State Tournament, I believe. It was not the policy of the TSSAA not to accept their passes at this particular district tournament, but one of the district itself.

District 2-AAA tournament is also double elimination after 1st night (final 4).

    • Biggest position to fill is QB. Kamden was special. A 1A team that can run and pass is very dangerous.
    • That would have been Coach Benjamin who was his legal Guardian and the DB coach.  I was the LB's Coach that was barely older than the players (I was going to UT for school and had started at Greeneville since my Sophomore year when Z coached there and he asked me to help coach)
    • Going on over a month now and still nothing, rumor mill or not I think a decision needs to be made. Maybe they don’t have anyone wanting it and maybe rumor mill don’t need it they are taking this long to come to an agreement.
    • Gibson County proved last year you can win it all with 6 players and if I’m not mistaken they only played 5 in the championship game. I would expect them to be good by end of season but I think losing Hart is a huge loss.  Summer camp gives teams a preview of what to expect and it’s exciting to see where teams are at. The Fillies return 3 starters and the 6th man that is 6’2” and I think she is going to surprise folks this season.
