CPA's All-State Defenders

I know there is a couple more games and the playoffs to come, but if you have seen CPA play (hopefully, the All-State voters have), their defense is as good as it gets in 2A, giving up only 23 points in 5 regional games. The first team (I think) has only given up 7. Of course, we still have East Robertson &Goodpasture to play and GP will definitely score some on CPA.

The entire unit is good, but the leaders are Taylor Clinton (sr.), Alex House (sr), and Justin Parris(jr).

In particular, House and Parris are definite 1st team All-Staters, IMO. House should be a Mr. Football candidate. He not only is the leader of the defense, but creates havoc both behind the line and creating turnovers, including 4 INTs this year. He is a 4 year starter at linebacker.

Do the right thing this year, voters, and recognize these All-State performers.

A four year starter at CPA? Wow. Is he being recruited by anyone?

He got his first start at the beginning of 2003 when Mr. Football nominee, Will Hooper, was injured for a few games, and it became immediately apparent they couldn't get him out of the lineup. He actually started with his brother (Andrew-now on Belmont's basketball team), who was a senior, that year.

He visited Arkansas State last weekend. Don't know where he will go and who else is talking to him. Also don't know how interested he is in playing college ball.
