The Tigers from Hollow Rock - Bruceton seem to be putting things in order at the right time. The Tigers do have a strong running game. But, they have made passing more of a priority and it is slowly helping the team. One play that got lost in the 45 carries - 259 yards was a crucial 3rd down pass to Alex Matlock which gave the Tigers a first down on one of their TD drives. This keeps teams from stacking 8 players in the box. The Tigers just pound on people for 4 quarters.

 

Ill take Bruceton over West Carroll. This should be a "slobber-knocker." The War Eagles are a much improved team looking to make the playoffs and are in a must win situation with the Tigers. This makes this game a wonderful match-up for the people of Carroll County.

 

The War Eagles have a talented RB #44. They Shey kid is a great back that the Tiger defense will have to stop.

 

Lets go Tigers and win this game this week. Everyone wear blue and white and meet in Atwood around 7:30 and cheer these guys to victory....... ;)

Looks like we have two great backs facing off this friday night, and they both play deffence also. I can't wait to see these two backs try to knock each other out. :D

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
