 I have really enjoyed this season for the Dragons. While we haven't made big strides in the win/loss (we have beaten the past couple of years record) we have been more competative in our playing. There is still along ways to go but better none the less. I am certain of the out come of the game against Central, I have hopes for Powell if we stay healthy?....I do want to thank the Dragons for all their hard work and as A.S. said "......it will be entertaining..." and that it has been. Best of luck with the remainder of the season and focus one game at a time.

I also believe the Central game won't play out well for my Dragons. However I do believe we can get win number 3 against Powell if we play smart and have our minds set right.

I think you will match up better than we did against Powell. Being a pass oriented team you can get away from Powells big lineman and open up the Field. Running the shotgun will give you guys the time to execute. It will all come down to your receivers catching the ball. I think you will do better than most people think.

Central is another story but they will be hurting with Blair being hurt. His pass rush this year has been outstanding and it will be hard for Central to find somebody right away to step in and make as great a impact as he has. Still Central has too many skill positions who can be gamebreakers at any time. Central being young has a lot of potentancy.

Should be fun out in the slop at Joel Helton Field Friday nite. It might slow down the fast Cats some, but Clinton's passing game will be tough to execute. Central by 28.

As far as the other cats (Panthers), I think Powell is just to big and strong for the Dragons. It may not be a total route, but I would think Powell will win by 18-21 points.

I am thinking, maybe even hoping that Powell is going to totally underestimate Clinton. That is basically what happened with campbell county and Lenoir City. Even though they were terrible they assumed they could beat Clinton.

But whatever happens. I still believe in my Dragons.

I don't see any underestimation this year, especially if Powell loses to West. If West beats Powell Friday night, Powell must beat Clinton to make the playoffs. If Powell comes up with a win against West, they could suffer a big letdown, and Clinton could sneak away with a win. However, Powell isn't good enough to beat West this year, and Powell will get it done against Clinton, 24-14.

I most definitly think Central will be a really big struggle for the Dragons especially of the offensive line can't get things going. We will not be able to afford any of the studpid errors that we have had. I think Central will take this one, but I feel that we can play with Powell (I won't go as far to say we will beat them). I think the Dragons can give them a honest and hard fight for the win.

What ever the out come I am a Dragon faithful and am very proud of the hard work and dedication of the team and the strides they have made to becomes a respectable ball team. ROLL ON DRAGONS!!!!

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
